Before Martin had to start his internship in Singapore, we wanted to make trip to Bali. We didn't stay in Kuta - the main tourist place - but in Sanur (that's a little further north). In Bali there is still the rain season and therefore it rained every day but that didn't bother us as we wanted to explore the island and not spend all the time at the beach. Here I am sitting in a little hut near the rice terraces and the Sacret Monkey Forest in Ubud.
That is a big and important temple in Bali. People enter this cave and meditate there. As it was full moon while we were there, there were actually quite a few meditating. Of course the sarong shouldn't be missing ...
In the evening we enjoyed a wonderful dinner while watchig Balinese dancers, but before we had a cocktail.
The next day we made a big tour through Bali and also visited the wood carver ...
Finally, we had lunch with an astonishing view of the vulcano. Well, as you see it wasn't that warm ...
